Xyla Mareé
As a youthful Entrepreneur/Free Lancing Artist, it has been quite the adventure learning how to establish the foundation of my life's creative work. Here's a little inside scoop of my process, & authentication. Thanks for viewing!

Modeling:
I began Modeling in 2019. Although I usually prefer to be the creative director in photography; learning how to be the subject of a photo shoot has taught me a lot about creative vision and collaboration. A huge thanks to Mansur Hasan (Sur Media Channel). As a phenomenal photographer and visionary, Mansur really set me up for success with my first official shoot which we named "Cernunnos." Couldn't be more grateful for our collaborative dreaming.
Dancing:

It is within my human design to be a Dancer; both metaphorically and literally. I have always had a passion for movement in my bones, being involved in some kind of creative motion for my entire life- from martial arts, to modern dance classes. Here is a list of all my experience with creative movement involving the physical body; Capoeira Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, Modern Dance Choreography, Contemporary Dance, Ariel Silks with Blue Lapis Light Dance Company, Pole Dancing, Breakdance and Hip Hop.

Painting:
I began painting with Acrylic's junior year in high-school, 2013. My mother was an art teacher when I was a young girl, I often participated in her classes and became very familiar with many kinds of creative expressions. I have experience with wire, clay, paints of many varieties, and fabrics.

Borosilicate Glass:

I have been studying Boro since 2013. My focus in the creative work began when I was employed for a promotional and event staff position at BC Smoke shop in Austin, Texas. I worked for BC Smoke Shop for two years; I then migrated from central Texas to Central Colorado seeking an apprenticeship. In 2016 I met Symbiartic Glass and worked in his studio for a few weeks.
In the Month of march 2017 I had nearly given up my Glass dreams when Caleb Storm (Liquid Fire Glass) reached out to me seeking help in his studio space. I attended a Flame-Working and Electroforming apprenticeship with Caleb Storm for two months in Floyd, Virginia. I then returned to Boulder, Colorado to work in Symbiartic's Glass Studio again. I worked in Symbartic's Studio for a few months on and off.

I have also been blessed with a mentorship under Tim Ferrel (Artiststylie), who has witnessed and supported my efforts to make this dream a reality since my first step in a community studio in 2016. I owe Tim my greatest thanks, Check out his art! Thank you Tim.
A huge Thank You to BC Smoke Shop, Symbiartic, Liquid Fire Glass, and Tim Farrel who all played a huge roll in showing me the ropes and gifting me beautiful knowledge on the creative art of melting Borosilicate Glass.
